Korean War Era only 60,000 manufactured. This jeep was originally stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. It was sold surplus to a local NC fire station where it served as a boat hauler for the fire Dept. Later it was sold to the public. This jeep runs and drives great and is driven regularly. * L134 Go Devil engine * 3 speed T-90 transmission * 12 volt conversion * 24 volt dash gauges don't work with the 12 volt systems. * Original body, engine, transmission, wheel rims and frame. * Body numbers match data plate on the dash. * The body is straight and solid with little rust. * The only rust that is not just surface rust is on the hat channels underneath; see pictures. * There are some minor oil leaks, from the rear main seal and transfer case. * New brake shoes and drums * New starter * All fluids are fresh Extra Parts: - New Master Cylinder - Correct Carburetor - Correct Oil Bath Air Filter - Original doors and side curtainsOn Nov-04-14 at 04:10:23 PST, seller added the following information: Korean War Era only 60,000 manufactured. Later it was sold to the public. * This issue has just started to occur since I have been taking the jeep out more in readying for the auction. It is sporadic but does happen. The starter occasionally does not engage the flywheel every time when starting. This seems to be a very common occurrence according to forum posts. I believe this is an alignment issue with the new starter. If a key turn does not engage, just give the Jeep a gentle roll by a push and the Bendix will then line up and starts 100% every time after doing this.
