For Auction is a 1948 ford F1 truck, Located in Clarksville TN 37043, Truck has been sitting in the garage for almost a year. Bought to build a rat rod out of it. However I can't seem to find the time to work on it and also have decided to build a different vehicle that the family can ride in. The truck would make a good restoration or rat project. It is complete minus the old ford bed. it did run and drive when I drove it into the garage. however after sitting for a year it needs a battery and some good gas and should fire up. the rear brake lines are bad. ( I have new ones for it) it could use cab corners as almost all of these old trucks do ( I have the new cab corners) I was planning on doing the flathead v8 to GM T5 tranny swap, So yes you guessed it I have a GM T5 tranny to go with it too. I also have a ford 9inch rear end out of a 1970 ford truck to upgrade the rear end that goes with it as well. Has a clean and clear TN Title. someone at some point in the trucks life did the 12volt conversion on it. I am an ASE Master Certified Collision Repair tech by trade, I specialize in restorations. This is a good truck to build whatever you wanted mild or wild custom rod or nasty ole ugly rat, Yes it does have some rust in a few other places, nothing that is not reparable.
