Up for sale is a 1966 mustang fastback with the A code 289 v8 premium fuel only with 225 Hp .This engine option was right under the k code.This car also has a highly desired 4 speed.There is a small chance it may be a GT as it has no quarter panel ornament,has the reinforcement at the back seat area for the dual exhaust,has disc brakes with with bigger master cylinder, it has the fog light switch but does not say fog lights and there does not seem to be the correct wiring from the main harness for it.I have not located the holes at the radiator support where the fog light wiring goes and the sway bar is only 5/8". The GT was only available for the A code or K code engine options.Be your own judge to all these facts.The car will need body work and floor pans on left and right side along with front frame rails as well as rear frame rail ends.Front clip and engine bay looks solid but will need battery apron panel replaced.There is also a dent on the passenger side metal dash. passenger side quarter panel looks as if someone years ago spot welded another quarter panel on but never finished. All tires are flat and the car has sat for years!!! The engine will need rebuilt and have not tried to turn it either.The trunk panels with both drop offs need replaced.Roof is pitted, has a few tiny holes and dings in it.There are no fenders and the doors need work and hood is basically junk.there is rust here and there so study the pictures please as there are no refunds or additional negotiations after the sale.In person inspections are encouraged with an appointment.There is no windshield.Title in hand.This car is for sale locally so this listing may expire at any time.
