This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION!! Last bidder owns it!! Here's your chance to own your own piece of celebrity history. Up for bid is my collector car. It's a 1986 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Looks to be rust free! V8 5.0 automatic. It reads 80,xxx miles. Runs and drives but needs a little TLC. It is said to have been owned by the celebrity actor Burt Reynolds. There is a plaque on the dash stating this and was told by the previous owner that it was titled in Florida by his production company. I wish I had more documentation because I think it would definitely increase the value. This was originally a white car that he had painted to his college colors, Florida Seminole garnet and has the golden arrows on the side. There are some imperfections and scratches in the paint(expected for the age and mileage). The hood had been repainted and is a little off color. Ck picks. The interior is an 8 out of 10 with the tan leather looking very nice(there is a crack in the dash). Top is in good working condition. It also has an aftermarket sound system and flow master exhaust. The issues are as follows: needs a brake booster, passenger visor, passenger armrest reattached and the gas pedal needs to be compressed when starting ever since I cleaned the engine. I think I got the EGR wet. I purchased it from an auction a few years ago and its been in my garage since. From what I've gathered, Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson would drive this car around his farm and to the Florida State Football games. There are several stories on the Internet and it has had several owners. The only reason I'm selling it, is because my daughter has started her first year of college.
