You are looking at a 1979 Jeep CJ5 Renegade Silver Anniversary Edition Numbers Matching Frame Off Restoration with only 79,274 Original Miles. The phrase "Frame Off Restoration" is sometimes loosely used the collector car world, but there were no short cuts taken here. Every nut and bolt has been touched. The Jeep has it's original running gear including it's 304 V8 engine and 3 speed transmission. It also has all its original body panels. There is NO patch work or bondo covering up rust. This jeep was a two owner jeep that had spent its entire life in Texas until I bought it earlier this year. The jeep had absolutely no rust anywhere on it before we started restoration. (See Pictures Below). It was in its original condition with all the silver anniversary badging and original seats. We completely disassembled the jeep. Every part, bolt, and nut was put into boxes for organization. Motor was put on a motor stand. Front and Rear differential were put on jack stands. Etc. Every part was completely restored or replaced before reassembling. The jeep was professionally paint and you won't find a better paint job anywhere. The jeep was restored to it's original condition except for the tires, wheels, and exhaust. Below is a list of new parts and work completed. The Jeep is as close to new as you can get. It looks better than it did when it come off the showroom floor and runs and drives like new. The jeep needs absolutely nothing. If you want the nicest CJ around you have found it.
