Up for sale is my 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider. I have owned this car since 1987 and had many wonderful years of open air driving. In 1995, I parked the car and began to disassemble her in order to begin a light mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Unfortunately, life got in the way and she has been in my garage ever since. Sometime in the early 90’s, the original 1300 engine was replaced with a much more reliable 1600 and the down draft Solex was replaced with a pair of Webers. Also, to improve stopping, the front drums were replaced with disk brakes. The original 1300 engine, Solex carburetor and the two shoe front drums are available should you wish to restore her to original specifications. She was running when she was parked, but has not been started in years. The car is about 98% complete with many more parts not pictured. Only the interior door panels and the hood spear are missing. If you have ever wanted to own an early spider, this is it. I would take very little to complete this car and to have her on the road again. The chrome is in need of attention but not bad at all. The front grille is in good condition. The interior is as you see it. The body is straight and solid, but does have some minor rust. She comes with a clear title. Additional pictures are available if requested. I live in Southern Alabama about 60 minutes from Mobile. Any inspection is welcome. Would prefer the buyer collect the car, but shipping can be arranged at the buyer’s expense. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction end and full payment in 7 days which must clear before I will release the car and the parts.
