1968 Cutlass S 2dr coupe for sale. Clear title and registered in California thru 2015. Car is being sold as NOT running, it was running well, but now the battery drains eventually and it cuts off. It maybe a short somewhere because the the battery is not being charged. I have replaced the alternator and voltage regulator twice, issue remains. I like the car but I am not a mechanic and can't afford nor want to spend the time on a classic at this time, the maintenance, repairs, extra parking spot.. I'm over it. The car should start and run with a charged battery, i just charged it up last week and took it around the block a few times and it was running off of the battery fine. Car runs very cool and smooth on the freeway, noticed it can get hot at idle after a bit, a fan shroud or maybe electric fans would prolly solve that. **Very low reserve!! I need to sell so I can pay off some bills and buy a place. Somone could fix this and flip it to make 2-3K in a week. My friends call this "The Getaway car." The car has been converted to 3-speed on the floor, from a 3 on the column. It has manual brakes, manual choke.. hey its got power steering though! ..truly old school. The body is solid, no rust except some surface in the trunk. Its in gray primer, interior is there and is good (bench seat). Car runs strong, literally does not leak anything, brakes are good, clutch is good, tires are good, (skinnies up front wide in the back mounted on aluminum Centerlines), headliner is good, and the interior has no rips or tears. Car has a great stance with the new springs. Headlights and signals, dome light, even the lil olds side lights work. The Speedometer needs to be hooked up, I have the adapter, after the shifter was installed the adapter is needed so the cable can connect to the trans. Also, some wiring issue where when you turn on the headlights the gauge needles drop, im guessing its a wiring issue with the install of the new gauges. The vehicle is being sold "AS-IS." The buyer accepts full responsibility for the vehicle, damages, and any 3rd party liability incurred from the vehicle use from the date of sale.
