What I am selling is my very nice 1988 sr5 toyota 4runner. All original all stock even the paint, interior, even radio! There is absolutely NO RUST AT ALL! I am the 3rd owner, it originally spent most of it's life in Buena Vista Ca. This 4runner has been well taken care of its entire life. exterior is in excellent shape ( there is a small ding in the tailgate and the hood ) the front pass. fender appears to have been resprayed at one time probably at the dealer but still retains its original stripes. All the body panel #'s all match. Interior is in Great shape as well, the carpet always had the original floor mats in it and I also installed the rubber all weather mats as well. The dash still has the original dash cover from the dealer, dash is perfect under the cover, no cracks. There is no rips or tears in the seats or carpet, the original radio still works great as well. interior I would rate it at an 8.5 out of 10. The exterior 8 out of 10. The engine was rebuilt by a master Toyota mechanic at 149000 miles (31000 miles ago) and runs like new. List of new parts recently: front brakes, rotors, calipers, repack wheel bearings 100 miles ago front tie rods inner and outer, wheel alignment factory Toyota parts 1200 miles ago exhaust,muffler, 500 miles ago tires BF Goodrich all terrain 1000 miles ago oil changes every 3000 miles rebuilt the original engine 31000 miles ago This 4runner starts rite up, runs and drives excellent 4 wheel drive works as it should as well. The high beam switch does not work all the time, this vehicle is 26 years old and does show some wear but is a prime example of an all original well kept 4runner. Like the fj40 (values are going through the roof) these older 2 door 4runners are on there way up as well. They are only original once!
