1951 Chevy Deluxe 2 door HOT ROD Gasser Tribute, 350 V8, 4 speed, 10 bolt Camaro rear end, Corvette Rally wheels. Scroll down for all the pics and video! A BAD ASS Chevrolet Deluxe w/ great patina to the body, chrome and even glass.. I purchased this car in NC. Dressed in satin black paint (not just primer) and full conversion to 350 V8, 4 speed, 10 bolt rear end conversion done and done well.. The body is solid and very much original. Floor boards look good with exception of a few minor areas of spot rust and at the corner of the rear door panels. Floors and trunk have been treated with POR 15 type paint. Driver front pan replaced w/ factory reproduction. Inner rockers have some rust. This is a rat rod not a show car! The frame is good, and the trunk is solid except spare tire well which has been cut for the custom dual exhaust. The windows roll up and down, headlights, taillights, and blinkers work w/ full 12 volt conversion. Speedo not working or fuel gauge. The suspension is good and drives down good down the road. The car has a great Gasser vibe w/ corvette rally's on it wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT's. 79 Camaro V8 350 engine with a small cam, four speed transmission (saginaw), a 10 bolt 1968 Camaro rear end. New CUSTOM dual exhaust system w/ Cherry Bombs that runs full length with a set of old school functional cutouts on the sides. It looks cool, sounds good , drives good, stops good, all hooked up right. I have installed New Edelbrock Carb, Pertronix Igniter electronic ignition module, Accel coil, new starter, new battery, new Sun tach and gauges. Interior is bare bones and needs carpet, headliner door panels etc.. Original front and rear seats installed. I am also throwing in $600 worth of NEW in the box Dynamat Extreme Black which will do the entire car front to back including trunk. I have removed the heater box and it will be included along with the original wheels. Complete NEW IN BOX front disc brake conversion kit included bolt on cost $400 on ebay. (not installed)Most of the hard work is done on this car and you can drive it now just as it is. Paint it and make it a resto mod or leave it a Hot/Rat Rod. Either way it is a blast to drive. Pulls strong in all gears. Needs a clutch adjustment as pedal is high but clutch looks good. Shifter does not like to go in reverse only when car is running. The reverse gear is fine I just put it in reverse when the car is off (could be linkage). Leaks a little oil from the front of the pan. I was told the motor was out of a dirt track car and was detuned with lower compression heads but sounds a little noisy/valve like due to pop up pistons or even valve covers. None the less runs great with no issues. Wipers are not working.
