Offered for sale is a well maintained 1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible with only 118,000 miles. Same enthusiast Jaguar Club owner since 2007 with full service history during that time. Car was always generously maintained at the Jaguar Dealership or by one of the local British automobile master mechanics.Beautiful Meteorite Silver Metallic paint over black leather makes a stunning color combination. The paint is in excellent condition with only a few small nicks/dings and no rust. The body is in exceptional condition with no signs of accident damage or paintwork confirmed by a clean carfax.Interior is in overall good condition for its age, showing wear on the driver's seat and bolster. The A/C has recently been checked for leaks and recharged. The insulated convertible top is in excellent shape with no tears or fraying. It's a bit slow but operates properly and includes the factory leather boot. The climate control, radio and 6-CD changer all function. Mechanically the car starts, stops and accelerates very smooth like a Jaguar should. The motor pulls strong throughout the rev range and does not smoke or burn oil. The transmission shifts smoothly through all five gears. Does not overheat or leak fluids. All original and never modified. No warning lights illuminated.
