Listed is a 1969 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser, I bought this vehicle to do a frame off restoration but realized quickly that I don't have the time, money or skills to accomplish such a task. I've owned this car about a year. This vehicle has rust on the drivers and passengers floor pan with the drivers side being the worst. I started to cut it out but stopped. Put a plate on the drivers floor to cover the hole. The frame has no bad rust, just surface rust, most other body panels are ok, some pitting around the bottom of the wind shield. Original hard top. Tires are 15x33x9.5, original studded tires with the studs pulled. So far this is what I've done: New starter, alternator, water pump, thermostat, battery, belts, hoses, heater core, oil changed with Valvoline 20/50, diffs and tranny with Lucas, radiator flushed and refilled with new anti-freeze. The transmission is a 3 speed and shifts fine in all gears. The 4wd low and high both work well and are a vacuum type / automatic type with pull lever on the dash. I replaced the shocks and spring bushings and body mounts all new. This vehicle runs and drives great just not faster than 60 MPH happily due to the 3 speed transmission. Don't plan on flying in or driving here and driving this home unless you live closer than 100 miles away, bring a trailer or have it shipped. This is a re-list due to the original buyer backing out.
