It was a very exiting year for the Nelsons as they took delivery of a beautiful 1970 Rare Karman Ghia with its unique Autostick Transmission and Factory Air conditioning, Ive been told this is an extremely rare combination, hence the special ordering of the car when new. The Ghia was enjoyed for many years then retired with only 98k miles and last driven in 1983 and stored in a garage for over 30 years until I found it. I was told it was running when parked but never tried to start it, it comes with the complete engine. I will leave the rest to the new lucky owners! The interior is in excellent original condition, I would just do the headliner and carpet kit otherwise its real nice! Please remember, It has not been started while in my friends possession, so it will be sold as-is, not running needing wakeup work, brakes, etc. As you can see, the body is real solid and nice with a SWEET PATINA Of course, it has minor scratches and indentations; after all it’s over 30 years old. All the gaps and panels are factory German perfect. As you can see in the pictures, this Ghia is 100% SOLID as a ROCK. With a few minor dings and scratches over the years, it sports an AWESOME PATINA. It’s a known FACT that original survivor vehicles will always command the most respect and value! These are getting VERY hard to find in original condition. Please don’t ask me or my friend what it needs to get running as I’m not a mechanic. This is a perfect Ghia for the enthusiast who loves nice untouched original paint survivors. You will be hard pressed to find one that’s original and untouched like this one.
