Hello All,We have an incredible 2000 Ford F550 XLT 16 foot flat STEEL bed truck with the 7.3 PowerStroke Diesel, 6 Speed transmission, and only has 44,644 miles. And now you probably want to why the miles are so low? I bought this truck from the city of Atlanta in the spring, where it had been impounded for 10 years. The city had condemned a building and this truck was inside and the owner never come back to claim it. I have pulled a Insta-Vin history report that shows NO damage history. After sitting so long it need some work, we put NEW batteries, Fuel pump, and fuel filters, Also New AC compressor, front tires, and repaired some of the lights. This truck is the correct Cab and Chassis for a 19' Rollback bed which was my intention. But I could never find a bed at a price that would make sense, plus pay to have it installed from scratch. It does Power windows, locks and COLD AC. A few things that need attention, the exterior power mirrors do not work, the steering wheel is slightly off center. and the speedo works intermittently. The odometer works and is accurate. So if your looking for the rock solid 7.3 Turbo Diesel to work or swap out your tow truck with a new cab and chassis here it is.
