This auction is for a true "barn find" 1969 Alfa Romeo Boattail Spider, also known as a "Duetto". This car is in very rough, but restorable shape. Lots of rust, but lots of solid metal as well. I pulled it out of a barn where it had set for over 30 years. Some parts had been robbed. Some of them I will include. What you see in the pictures is what you will get other than a top frame, which will also be included. Nothing else is included. There is NO TRUNK LID included in this sale. Other than what you see I don't know alot about the car. I believe the engine is locked up however I have not tried to free it. Something is wrong with the steering box as it will not steer the car. Underneath there is the normal rust that was bad with these cars such as the floorpan and rockers. The subframe underneath looks pretty solid. The doors are very solid and include the glass. The hood looks pretty good as well. I am selling this car with NO RESERVE so the high bidder at the end of the sale will own it.
