My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. The 5.9 Limited was only made for the 1998 model year as a send off of sorts for the outgoing generation of Grand Cherokee. However, there is much more to the 5.9 Limited that simply a Grand Cherokee Limited with a big engine. There are a few obvious exterior differences, such as the functional heat extracting hood louvers and special alloy wheels. In addition, the 5.9L Jeeps had different grills (with color matched honey comb inserts), different side skirts (more aerodynamically contoured) and lower profile roof racks. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is an absolutely gorgeous Jeep. The 5.9 Limited were only available in three colors...this being the rarest. The finish is as smooth as glass and has a mile deep shine all around. I won't go as far to say that this Grand Cherokee is flawless, but it's nicer than most with half the miles. The body lines up straight and true. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body cladding looks good. The special alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in an aggressive set of rubber with deep tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this Grand Cherokee is. I would also rate the interior of this Jeep to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior is full of features that set the 5.9 Limited apart from its lesser cousins. First off, the seats are finished in calf grain leather. The interior wood accents are a darker color and there are additional wood accents found only in the 5.9L trim. The transmission shifter, transfer case lever and center arm rest are real leather...not plastic as found in every other Grand Cherokee. The rear seat has a fold down arm rest, also specific to the 5.9L trim. The stereo is also upgraded and a rear sound bar is added. As you take a seat in the drivers position, it is clear that the previous owners took great care of this Jeep. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The calf grain leather seats show well and are very comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors work properly. The power sunroof does not work and will need looked at. The dash and headliner are clean. The wood accents show well and are fully intact. The original stereo has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which sounds great through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this rare Jeep. Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in running and driving condition. The 360ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. She idles with a low, mean growl. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. She makes plenty of power and runs like a raped ape. The suspension feels good for an older Jeep. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The big engine isn't the only trick under the hood. The 5.9L trim also included a heavy duty transfer case and upgraded transmission internals as well as an electric cooling fan and heavy duty alternator. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly but WILL NOT GO INTO OVERDRIVE. The Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system also works properly. The other negative is that you get an occasional whine from the front diff (it is at its worst when you're slowing down from highway speeds). Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. The 5.9 Limited was only made for the 1998 model year as a send off of sorts for the outgoing generation of Grand Cherokee. However, there is much more to the 5.9 Limited that simply a Grand Cherokee Limited with a big engine. There are a few obvious exterior differences, such as the functional heat extracting hood louvers and special alloy wheels. In addition, the 5.9L Jeeps had different grills (with color matched honey comb inserts), different side skirts (more aerodynamically contoured) and lower profile roof racks. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is an absolutely gorgeous Jeep. The 5.9 Limited were only available in three colors...this being the rarest. The finish is as smooth as glass and has a mile deep shine all around. I won't go as far to say that this Grand Cherokee is flawless, but it's nicer than most with half the miles. The body lines up straight and true. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body cladding looks good. The special alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in an aggressive set of rubber with deep tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this Grand Cherokee is.
I would also rate the interior of this Jeep to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior is full of features that set the 5.9 Limited apart from its lesser cousins. First off, the seats are finished in calf grain leather. The interior wood accents are a darker color and there are additional wood accents found only in the 5.9L trim. The transmission shifter, transfer case lever and center arm rest are real leather...not plastic as found in every other Grand Cherokee. The rear seat has a fold down arm rest, also specific to the 5.9L trim. The stereo is also upgraded and a rear sound bar is added. As you take a seat in the drivers position, it is clear that the previous owners took great care of this Jeep. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The calf grain leather seats show well and are very comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors work properly. The power sunroof does not work and will need looked at. The dash and headliner are clean. The wood accents show well and are fully intact. The original stereo has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which sounds great through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this rare Jeep.
Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in running and driving condition. The 360ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. She idles with a low, mean growl. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. She makes plenty of power and runs like a raped ape. The suspension feels good for an older Jeep. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The big engine isn't the only trick under the hood. The 5.9L trim also included a heavy duty transfer case and upgraded transmission internals as well as an electric cooling fan and heavy duty alternator. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly but WILL NOT GO INTO OVERDRIVE. The Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system also works properly. The other negative is that you get an occasional whine from the front diff (it is at its worst when you're slowing down from highway speeds). Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
