Your bidding on a 97 F150 XLT Extended Cab (3 Door) Pickup Truck with the long bed It's got 4x4 and was used to pull a boat/kayaks a few times every season, I will sell it with the trailer ball hitch. It's mechanically good, though it is an older truck (17 years old) and has its share of issues, none of which effect daily use.It's being used now for my business, hauling stuff around daily. It's got the TRITON 4.6L V8 and an automatic transmission. NO ISSUES WITH ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION. It's really smooth and has plenty of powerRecent tune up was done, about 6 months ago. The transmission is smooth as silk. Neither of them leak or need any fluids The suspension is solid, and it has a small lift (2 inches) and has larger tires, no play in the steering or shakes of any kind. VERY SOLID The A/C is ICE COLD and the heater works great, though I have never really had a use for it. It's a FL truck, spent it's life down south We bought this F150 truck originally to remodel the home we purchased The remodel is complete and I no longer need it. CLEAN FL TITLE, NO ACCIDENT HISTORY This truck is 17 years old, keep in mind it has several issues I want to make you aware of. The steering wheel bearing needs replaced, it doesn't effect driving at all and it's been like this since i bought it.The tires will need replacing soon, they aren't going to blow on you or anything like that but they are only at 50% tread so keep this in mindThe headliner is coming down in a couple places, easy fix but I haven't gotten around to it since it's just a work truck for meThe bed is pretty scratched up from haulingThere are various small scratches in the body, and peeling clearcoat (no big spots) not really any dents, not a single MAJOR ding anywhere in the bodySomeone stole my turn signal covers (crazy huh?) they are $6 each on eBay but I haven't bothered to replace since they still work and signal, lights work fine. CD player works great, with one CD but the changer under the seat doesn't have a cassette. I lost it so you can find it on eBay if having 6 CD's is important to you.The interior is smelly, probably from being rained in before I got it. I use febreeze regularly and it really doesn't bother me much but I thought I would mention itThe carpet on the floorboard is dirty, as can be expected from muddy work boots and such.The brakes are soft, the truck stops but the Pads need replaced badly, most likely the calipers too. I never was concerned because I drive pretty safely and it's never been a problemThe exhaust is great but the mufflers both have holes in them, it's not loud so I never cared about it.
