Up for sale is my 1958 Chevy Nomad. The car is from Biloxi, Mississippi. I found several recipes for parts bought in biloxi in the car from the previous owner. I've had the car a little over a year and a half. The numbers verify it's a true Nomad. I was told it originally had a 348 w motor and 58 was the first year for that engine. When i bought it had a 69 chevy 350 2 barrel in it that was in bad shape. This is an extremely rare car!! I'm pretty sure this car was in the katrina floods, and the interior was redone afterwards. I'm not sure how much, if anything was done mechanically afterwards. Therefore it needed everything rebuilt and replaced in the drivetrain. Now the motor runs very strong and sounds great. The motor has less than a 1,000 miles on it. Below is a list of all the new and rebuilt parts on the drivetrain. The stock 3.36 gear was reused and is great on the highway, especially with the overdrive transmission.
