This is a mostly completed project car that I was working on with my kids but ran out of time and money to finish it up. It is mechanically and physically sound and runs and drives well. (It would have to be towed, since it does not currently have its headlights or turn signals installed). Here are the specifics: The BAD: It looks ugly – even the tires. I am mostly through sanding off a terrible paint job that even ended up on some of the tires. Although there is no body rust, some of the hollows though the older paint would have to be filled – then the car could use a real paint job.Small spot of rust under the battery, large area of rust that I didn’t yet repair on the right door sill.A non-working aftermarket stereo was removed from the dash, leaving a rectangular hole into the front trunk.There is no headliner currently installedIt needs a new battery and negative ground cable The GOOD: New/Rebuilt 1600 cc engine has less than 1000 miles on itFloor pans are in good shapeBrakes have been recently adjustedVery little rust on body, frame or undercarriage except as previously notedSeats and carpeting are in decent conditionSunroof with no leaksNew running boards, turn signals, seals, gaskets and extra parts includedtow bar included I am selling this AS IS, since I’ve run out of funds and time to finish it up and repaint it.
