Vehicle Detail
Hello to all ebayers,..... ******ATTENTION!!!!******For an EXTENSIVE COLLECTION of CURRENT PICTURES ((200+))!!!!!, PLEASE CLICK on the link below****** PLEASE READ..... http://my.tidewater.net/~kitti/chevy210/ .....up for your consideration and/ or bid is yet another old classic out of my 30 year+ collection. This one being a 1957 Chevrolet 210 4 door Sedan! Like everything in my collection, the '57 is currently not a "turn-key-driver" and will need a substantial amount of work to ever go back on the road! I purchased the '57 210 21 years ago in 1993 as a back-up-parts-car for my 2 door hardtop BelAir,...but never needed any parts. So instead of sending it to the crusher, hopefully someone out there can use the many good parts! The '57 210 is the less popular and more RARE version, ((verses the popular BelAir)). The '57 Is ALL Original and Complete ((less the 6 cylinder engine and seats)). The frame is excellent from the front of the car to the mid-section of the rear doors where the front of the rear spring hanger attaches,...in that one spot the frame is broken on both sides and gets thin in spots back to the rear bumper ((see pics)). The '57 was originally a 6 cylinder car and that was in the '57 until 20 years ago when my Dad pulled it and installed it in a '61 Apache 4X4 plow truck. The original transmission ((which is a 2 speed cast-iron Power-Glide)) is still in place in the '57. The battery box is in place and in good condition as well as the original radiator that is in excellent condition and held fluid with no problem all those years ago. The sheet metal all the way around is pretty decent, ESPECIALLY the HOOD, FRONT FENDERS, INNER-LINERS, SPLASH PAN (under the radiator), RADIATOR SUPPORT and lastly the TRUNK LID, (SEE ALL the PIC's). The complete passenger floor-board ((front and rear)) is pretty "tired". The '57 still has the original STEERING WHEEL, DASH, AM RADIO, GLOVE COMPARTMENT and ALL GAUGES and lastly the ORIGINAL 6 CYL. AIR-CLEANER........sure to be some great parts for any '57 enthusiast. Overall the '57 is an okay candidate for restoring OR would make an EXCELLENT PARTS CAR,...your choice! The starting bid is at a very reasonable starting price for a '57 Chevrolet....with NO RESERVE! *****NOTE*****The '57 210 free-rolls 100% and NO brakes are seized,...therefore will load with ease.I've stated all that I know about this '57 210 as factual as possible. Due to the age and amount of sitting for years, this '57 210 does not come with any guarantees or warranties expressed or implied and is sold as is where is. For the winning bidder I offer FREE delivery BUT only if you are local and/or up to only 20 miles away. If you are 21-100 miles from the '57 210 I offer delivery for a fee of $1.00 per mile. I do not offer any delivery options over 100 miles and I certainly do not offer any long haul options from state to state either. Any winning bidder that is in the "over 100 mile category" it is up to you to make shipping arrangements and of course all transportation and shipping costs are the expense of you...(the winning high bidder). At my discretion, I may extend the free delivery from 21-100 miles if the '57 210 reaches a dollar amount I deem acceptable. Should you use your own trailer/equipment to pickup the '57 210 ,...I offer FREE loading assistance to you with my Rollback and equipment,...or I'll assist the carrier of your choice (should you hire one),...also FREE of charge. PLEASE NOTE;...the state of Maine does not/will not issue a title for ANY automobile/vehicle of 1995 and prior. I do not have a title and the Impala comes with a bill-of-sale as ownership. ADDITIONAL NOTE;...some states will not accept a bill-of-sale as ownership of a vehicle,...please check with your individual state. FOR THOSE PERSPECTIVE BIDDERS THAT FIT INTO THIS LAST CATEGORY,...please let me know, as I have a legal document called (("Letter of Verification" @ 1 (207) 624-9000)) so that you can take this paperwork to YOUR state DMV you reside in and YOUR STATE will issue you a new title in your state. I've done this may of times before and to my knowledge this is the only perfectly legal way for bidders from title-demanding states to get a title for a vehicle from a non-title issuing state. I believe the pictures speak for them self, and what doesn't I've included in the description,........if you feel I have missed anything or you have any questions what so ever, please feel free to send me an email and I'll answer the question(s) asap. Upon the completion of the auction I ask that the winning bidder to commit to the transaction with payment in the form of a $200.00 deposit within 48 hours. I also ask that the high bidder follow-up with full payment in 7 days, or contact me for additional time if needed. If you have no intent of following threw with the complete payment of the auction item, please just don't bid and waste everyone's time playing games,...any non paying bidders will be reported to both ebay and all 3 major credit reporting agency's. As always,...UNDERCARRIAGE PICTURES ARE ALWAYS posted for perspective bidders/ buyers!!! ********KEEP WATCH,...a lot of interesting older ANTIQUE/CLASSIC AUTOS (1950-1985) coming in the next several weeks/months,...ALL of which will start with a modest starting price with NO HIDDEN RESERVE!!!******** .....thanks for looking, Bob..
