1967 IMPALA SS SUPER SPORT 327 4 BBL 275 HP AUTO 12 BOLT REAREND.RESTORATION PROJECT This is an easy restoration project that would make a great cruiser, rat rod (it has great patina AS IS) 60's custom (flamed with some Astro Supremes) or LOWRIDER. I purchased this car from the son of the original owner it had been sitting since 1991! I have just gave it a tune up and oil change and it runs real well. It drives and stops but should be given a full go thru before taking it on any road trips. When I first got it running it was smoking a little bit so I bought new valve stem seals for it. (you can change them right on the car no need to pull the heads) But the more I ran it the less and less it smoked. I think it was just from sitting so I did not bother to put the valve stem seals in but they are included with the car. It runs real nice now, I have yard driven it no where too far. The body has rust in all the usual places but not too bad overall when you see the photos. The pass side floorpan has a small hole starting that can be easily fixed. The trunk is real solid but it does have a hole behind the drivers side wheel well that will need repair. The undercarriage is real nice and dry (they do not use road salt in NC so the cars don't rust as much as the Northern cars) The car will need a windshield it is cracked, and it is missing the A/C compressor that was gone beofre I got it. This is a true SURVIVOR SUPER SPORT with bucket seats and console, it will be a high dollar car when finished but is selling ridiculously CHEAP so don't snooze on this one! original unmolested cars like this are getting harder and harder to find!
