1925 Ford Model T roadster, needing finishing. I purchased this totally taken apart car from a man who started restoration thirty years ago. At that time he completely disassembled the roadster, had the motor completely rebuilt including domed pistons, purchased many new pieces of sheet metal, loads of repro parts, and fully restored the chassis and fenders, turtle back,. After a divorce, everything was stored in a garage where a fire broke out, burning some of the paint but not warping any parts. I purchased the project, hauled everything home in several truckloads and spent months building the car. I have done the following: - motor was assembled with all accessories , paired to the trans and installed - brand new band linings were installed in transmission , correctly adjusted - new exhaust system installed, manifolds installed with correct gaskets, no leaks! - new round tube radiator installed, hoses - new NH carburetor - new wiring harnesses installed The motor now runs beautifully, fires right up, runs with absolutely no skipping. Trans works great. At this time, the roadster needs a wood kit. All sheet metal is loosely bolted to just the chassis for show. The "tub" (seat surround) is frail and needs reinforcing work. Turtle back and fenders are near perfect. running boards and side aprons are reproduction. All sheet metal on this car is straight as an arrow , no rot, except for the tub. Included with this project is a complete, new top kit with side curtains and back window, still in the box. Also included, a new upholstery kit in black vinyl with kick panels. These were purchased thirty years ago but never put on the car. I DO have the top irons but wood bows will need to be purchased. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
