**Relisted Due To Out of State Non-Paying Bidder** DESCRIPTIONFor sale is a 1992 BMW 318IC Cabriolet with 191k original miles. This is the last E30 chassis made by BMW, which they only made in a Cabriolet before they switched to the E36 chassis. This car comes with a clean carfax, title and manuals. The car is in excellent mechanical and exterior condition for a 22 year old car. This is an excellent example of this make and model that has been meticulously cared for and maintained. This is easily better than 9 out of 10 E30s that you will run into on the road. The car runs and drives as good as the car looks. It is very difficult to find an E30 in this condition. The car is extremely reliable. During this car's life, I was extremely meticulous with the maintenance and parts used. This car is enthusiast owned. Only quality OEM or better German parts have been used. I refuse to put any aftermarket parts on the car. The only changes that I have made to the car include OEM BMW European Ellipsoid Headlights (wiring pigtails included for easy install/removal), an OEM BMW IS Lip Spoiler, and OEM BMW Foglights. This motor has a timing chain, and was built by BMW to be extremely reliable. If you look around in the BMW community, it is not uncommon to see these motors go for 300k miles. There are no leaks and all maintenance has been preformed to date. A compression and leakdown test were performed recently, all numbers came back extremely strong. TRANSMISSIONIt has a BMW 5 speed transmission that shifts into all gears cleanly without any issue. There is no slop in the shifter and it feels excellent. NEVER abused. INTERIORIt has factory original tan leather interior. There are two blemishes with the leather, 2 inch seam in the rear seat has separated (could be sewn back) and there is a tear in the driver bolster. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dashboard is CRACKFREE. PAINT AND BODYThe body is in great shape with Alpineweiss paint. The paint shines extremely well for a 22 year old car. Only the best detailing products and sealants have been used. Yes, I'm the guy with a touchless car wash system at my home. There is one small golf ball sized dent in the rear passenger fenderwell, the passenger mirror has a little bit of clear coat peeling. WHEELS AND TIRESTires are Falken, which have excellent road handling capabilities. There is 85% tread left, and the wheels are BMW bottlecaps BBS. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIESThe car has bright BMW OEM ellipsoid headlights and BMW fog lights. All lights, electrical buttons and accessories work well. It has the factory A/C system, I just recharged the A/C and it blew cold, but the freon has leaked out. There is probably a leak somewhere which could probably be fixed easily, or you can just put down the convertible top. The head unit is the original BMW cassette deck. The audio system and speakers sound great. SUSPENSION AND BRAKESThe whole car handles great, the suspension is in excellent condition and happily reacts to the driver's inputs.
