The car has been restored as a present for my Father, who is no longer with us so its time for the car to be sold. Has been owned for almost 3 years and was taken back to the metal and treated to a full respray. The motor has been pulled and cleaned up completely with ceramic coated headers, a Weber downdraft carb, all new hoses, stainless hose clamps and all the best toys, the motor starts up first time every time and has been my daily driver for the last 2 weeks. Has had the rubber bumpers removed and the chrome bumper conversion kit from England installed. All new polyurethane bushing in the suspension, rear gas strut conversion, heavy duty springs up front. All new brakes up front, all new wheels and tires, new clutch, new clutch line, master and slave cylinder. Mechanically, this car is very strong. Has new carpet, new seats, new 4 speaker amplified MP3 CD player. The top is a few years old and doesn't leak but will need replacing in a couple of years, the only rust in the project was surface that was treated and removed and the floor pans were both cut out, replaced and reinforced for added strength to car.This is a good, strong car that has been loved and was my Fathers toy for the last little while. Its now time for another family to enjoy her and finish her off with a few personal touches. I added heated seats due to the weather round here and redid a lot of the wiring to make sure that old English stuff doesn't cause any more problems for the next owner.
