Hello All I am selling a very nice and very clean clean 1999 GMC Suburban 2500 4X4 with a 6.5 Turbo Diesel. This is the top of the line SLT trim package with only 88,640 miles on it. I have a current InstaVin history report that shows a clean history. I can email it to anyone upon request. This SUV is a rust free California truck that looks and runs great. This was originally donated to charity and we purchased it from the charity. With this low of miles its obvious it sat for long periods of time, that said we have just replaced the injection pump and PMD module. The pump was a NEW -re-built from Diesel Care products in Tennessee(ebay) and has a one year warranty. The PMD is a new Detech module. The interior is like new except for small tear in driver seat. Other things to mention: there is a small dent in rear driver quarter panel, a crack in lower right side of windshield, and the tires have about 30% tread left. This is the last year of the DIESEL Suburban and they are getting harder to find. On Oct-03-14 at 13:38:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to let everyone know I have driven the Suburban for a couple days this week for just over 100 miles the new miles will be 88,743 Hear are some questions that have been ask: Transmission condition? Tight and responsive? Shifts smoothly and not banging into gears? Transmission drives and shift smooth no banging or hard shift. Fluid is proper color and not burnt Engine condition?...Is it mechanically sound / strong? Engine seems very sound and smooth and some what quieter than other 6.5 I have owned. It does have good power but, I must admit I think it could do a little better. It seems slightly off not sure if its a boost or tuning issue from where it sat for so long or 3.73 gear. It starts easy with no smoke and idles perfectly. 4x4 condition? Does it work in both Hi and Low? Any grinding? I have not taken the truck off road so I do not have extensive knowledge of the four wheel drive system. I engaged it drove it around the yard and returned to two wheel drive. That brief use it seemed fine Any rust on the truck? There is absolutely NO RUST. the undercarriage and body are in great shape Any previous wrecks / body work? I have only owned it a short time as far as I can tell it has never been in accident accept for small dent in rear quarter panel as pictured. I purchased 2 separate history reports neither one show damage history All electrical working, interior and exterior? Yes , but I do not know the condition of the trailer wiring or brake box I did not useDoes it have hitchYes, it has a class 4 hitch with a 6 pin trailer connection Does the AC work? Ac works blows cold and both front and rear controls work fine Does it Stall ? How is the injection pump? The truck runs great no stall issues. As stated in listing I purchased and had installed by a diesel mechanic a brand new injection pump and PMD module. I did not relocate PMD but purchased and improved de-tech model and installed on pump. The new pump and PMD come with 1 year warranty, I will provide new owner with original receipts.
