Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III convertible. It's one of 3,048 convertibles made that year, and it's pretty much all original showing 42,800 miles. It's a solid car that runs, drives, and stops. Although it has minor rust underneath, I have not found any holes in the floor or anything alarming. It appears to have had one repaint in the original Starmist White paint years ago. It has the original convertible top, which is in gorgeous condition. The original interior is in very presentable shape, and still has the original carpet. If you are familiar with these cars, you will notice that unlike others out there, the original dash shows virtually no sagging. And YES, you are seeing this correctly - There are no cracks in the instrument cluster! The steering wheel is also in great shape. The clock works, as well as the heater. The radio tries to seek stations, but someone broke the antenna off years ago. While I have owned the car, I put in new front wheel cylinders, brake hoses, and new rear brake lines. I've had the treadle-vac rebuilt. The carb and fuel pump are freshly rebuilt as well. The original fuel tank has some pin holes in the bottom. I have been running the car with a temporary gas can in the trunk. I have a new solid fuel tank on it's way, which I plan to install when it arrives in a few days. The previous owner, who had owned the car since 1980, told me the top works. So far, I operated it through part of it's cycle. It seems all the relays, and switches are working properly. The only power window that's stuck is the passenger window. I'm guessing it's the motor? I haven't had time to look into it any further. Other things have come up at home, and I reluctantly have to sell this car. Believe me, I'm very bummed about selling it. I've owned this Lincoln for a few years now, and I have the title in my name. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of auction. Full payment within 7 days. Space is also an issue with me - The car MUST be picked up within 3 weeks of the end of auction. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.Thanks! It's all original from the Valley Green paint to the V-12 engine. Just thought I'd mention it to see if there's any interest.
