Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1974 Chevy K20 4x4. The 4x4 worked well all winter for me. It has manual locking hubs. It has a clean and clear title. This has been my daily driver. I have owned it since last winter and it did well in the Colorado Snow. I used it to get up to Boulder Canyon through ice and snow to repair homes that were damaged by last years flood. Most of the work to the truck was done by the previous owner. I added the flowmaster exhaust which is loud. The truck has a 350 in it with long tube headers. It has an Edelbrock 4 barrel 600cfm carburetor, Edelbrock valve covers with brand new oil breather, Edelbrock manifold, Edelbrock air filter cover with a brand new filter. It has a Muncie 4 speed. The truck has fresh fluid in the transmission and transfer cases. It just got a fresh oil change and I purchased new plugs for her and I will try to get those installed soon. If I didn't take a job overseas I would not be selling the truck. It has its quirks like most old vehicles, but I really like it. It is a tough, good looking truck. Please review the good, needs attention, and pictures. I will try to get a video posted soon as well because I would like to let potential buyers hear it start up and rev. THE GOOD CHEVY 350 with Edelbrock goodies mentioned above (Previous owner said it was rebuilt but didn't provide paperwork... runs very strong, has always been reliable and always starts) STARTS UP EASY EVEN IN WINTER RUNS GOOD, PLENTY OF POWER, SHIFTS GOOD, STOPS WELL CLEAN BODY (one of those where it looks really nice from a few feet away but when you get up close you can see the imperfections... previous owner said it had bodywork and paint a few years ago) Certainly a presentable truck that gets a lot of looks and conversations JACKED UP 35" TIRES ON HER NICE ALUMINUM RIMS BILLETT GRILLE BRAND NEW FLOWMASTER 10 SERIES TRUE DUAL EXHAUST straight back from the long tube headers 2.5" pipe to (2) flowmaster 10 series mufflers and exits with (2) slash cut tips in front of the rear tire on both sides. Sharp looking and sounds mean! LIGHTS WORK, GAUGES WORK, SPEEDO WORKS COMES WITH A DROP DOWN HITCH AND BALL NEEDS ATTENTION The previous owner didn't tell me about most of these things but I am an honest guy and I want potential buyers to know what could stand to be fixed currently Drivers side door does not latch properly. I think it needs an adjustment, it needs to be lifted up some in order to engage the peg. Currently I have some tape on the peg which helps it grab to stay closed... most of the time :) Power steering pump squeaks at times Seat needs a cover, torn Mud tires have dry rot cracks. They are very thick and they hold air. I have driven on them since I have had the truck without issue. The hood has a bend mid way on the left side. I think this may be common its from opening and closing the big hood with the big hinges I think. Some light rust Drivers side floor pan has a metal panel welded in and the passenger side could probably use the same soon. Some seals need to be replaced. I don't see any big leaks or puddles anywhere, but I can see signs of seeping. Radio doesn't work There is only one of the two original gas tanks. The tank is located on the passenger side of the truck. When you fill the tank you have to fill it slowly otherwise it will spill back out. Sometimes I hold the fuel gun upside down and this seems to help. I haven't had a problem filling the truck up, it just takes longer than usual. All in all this is a great tough old truck. It has been really good to me. There has been a lot of money spent on the truck in the past with the lift, the paint, the engine accessories, the tires, the exhaust etc... It can be your daily driver, it can be your winter warrior, it can be your 4x4 mud truck, it can be your work truck. Its great, I really enjoy it and if I wasn't leaving I wouldn't be selling it. When I get back I will definitely be looking into buying another one like this. If you have any questions let me know. Thank you Pick up is preferred, otherwise shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If you are serious about this truck, get quotes and make a shipping plan early. This truck is being relisted because the winner of the last auction fell through. If you have less than 20 positive feedback transactions on your record contact me before bidding on this item.
