1986 Mercedes 300SDL with excellent running motor, but has some rear-end collision damage. When stoplight turned green, car behind lurched forward(approx 10 mph) and hit rear panel near passenger taillight. Car is started and driven around the block at least once a week. Starts right up, with smooth idle and strong acceleration. Car has not been driven far since impact. All lights work. No cracked glass.Odometer stopped working when I reset trip odometer. I am told it is a stuck gear.Interior in good condition. Very good dash.Gauges work (except ODO). Good brakes and tires.Recent (last 6 months) work includes all new - injectors, injector pump seals, glow plugs. The strongest point is the excellent running motor, which starts up on a half-turn and runs smoothly. The weakest point is the rear area as shown, which needs repair.
