Vehicle Detail
This is the car for a certain kind of 356 buyer. Quite rare white/white T6 purchased by a physician for his wife here in Albuquerque in July of 1963 and owned here by a total of three owners since, active, knowlegeable PCA members. shown and driven regularly, Runs strong and beautifully, everything works. Seats recently redone in factory pattern white leatherette. No rust, no bodywork, probably original paint, still fine but with some light cracking. Not inexpensive, but a good value for someone who wants this quality of collectible Porsche. Any questions, please call Tom Thompson at 505-362-6043 or at OutbackTom@mac.com.On Sep-21-14 at 08:40:14 PDT, seller added the following information: update; yes, that is the original towel. Also shown is the period 356B T6 parts manual. The original steering wheel and shift knob come with the car, they are like new.The C of A is tough to read in the photo. This is a Reutter 1600 S coupe. Mfg . 6/12/1963. The options shown are green tinted windshield, trim strips, ventilated chrome wheels, balance spring, and Phoenix tires. The paint code is white 6220, and the interior is shown as "white leatherette." There have been a number of questions to the effect of "No rust, really? Really?" The answer is no rust, really. Ever. The original paper fuse map is still in place, Present tires are Michelins, near new. Recently rebuilt engine with big bore kit, originally 75 HP, now more, runs strong with a rally cam. It has a factory rear sway bar. There has been a great deal of knowledgeable interest in this car. Questions, inspections welcomed; Please don't bid unless you are a serious purchaser.
