Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my 1976 6 cylinder 4 door Chevy Nova for restoration or parts. The car runs, however my mechanic advised against driving it long distances- if at all. Over a year ago, the rear axle along the passenger side tire slipped back from its attachment to the leaf spring towards the rear of the vehicle. By the time I realized it, the damage had been done, after a mechanic pulled it back into place the car started making an awefull noise from what sounded like from where the drive shaft meets the Automatic transmission. After further inspection, I was told it would be the same amount for a new car to do all the repair work. It's been too long to remember all the finer details, but long story short, I must of bent, warped and strained a lot of the undercarriage (Tie rods, drive shaft, etc). Sorry to say, I cannot remember all the specifics. That's why I'm selling it for parts if anything, although Ebay claims I must sell this as a full vehicle and not for parts. The body itself is in very good condition, particularly the front portion. Some minor dents and rust, however most of the rust is on the doors or rear end. If you live nearby, contact me and you may be able to come see the car before you bid or buy. Before I screwed it up, it was probably the most reliable car I've ever owned. I would restore it if I had the money. I'm not used to selling cars, if there's any information or more pictures you would like to see- please do not hesitate to ask me. There isn't much history to the car, but if you want to check the VIN number it's 1X69D6T163570. I was told not to drive it long distances, so I cannot recommend anyone else driving it either unless at your own risk. I don't have a trailer for it, buyer must find a way to transport it.
