All lights work including Headlights, taillights, brake lights, dash speedo light and license light. I consider this a fair weather cruiser.. I have driven it in the rain. I usually keep it garaged and cruise it on sunny days. You could use this as a daily driver. This bug gets a lot of attention.. I have a 68 Charger as well and this VW gets more smiles, thumbs up and stares than any car Ive ever owned. I'm 6'4 300lbs and believe it or not I'm comfortable driving it. The body has no rust that I can see anywhere.. Floor pans are solid and were replaced years ago. Its time for me to move onto another project. Whoever ends up with this bug will have so much fun.
