Vehicle Detail

Up for grabs is my beautifully reconditioned 1979 Camaro. This car has had many blood, sweat and tears put into her over the past couple of years. I purchased the car from a GM certified mechanic about 2.5 years ago. He had rebuild the engine, transmission, and rear end before I took ownership. The exterior was a 10 ft paint job garage paint job that was on the car from the previous owner before him. Last summer I had the engine/transmission checked over by my classic car mechanic and had plugs/wires/cap/rotor/MSD ignition control box/ and all fluids replaced with royal purple synthetic. At that time new Indy 500 Firehawk 295/50/r15's rear and 235/50/r15 front tires, along with American Racing wheels where installed. ($1,700 all said and done). Had a tri-core radiator and aux cooking fan installed along with a battery box and 15 gallon aluminum fuel cell in the trunk. ($1,500) has line-lock, shift kit, and auto meter tach, temp gauge, oilPressure gauge, and volts gauge. The rear end is a 10 GM which was a 3:73 ratio but had that swapped to 4:11's and added ladder bars on the rear axles. Newer custom true dual exhaust with high flow performance mufflers. Last fall the exterior had an extensive, no expense spared make over. Once the old paint came off, cancer was found on rear quarters, lower doors, and rockers. Also had a fiberglass cowl hood which was no good so all those panels plus the hood where replaced at that time. While the car was apart new hard wear on doors and hood where installed and new handles. This car is laser strait and body gaps and where they should be. This was all professionally done at a local Body shop in my town by a gentleman who has restored more classics than I think he can count. You'll see from the photos the paint is phenomenal (one minor chip from storage on rear fender) and has an amazing glass shimmer to it. Turns heads everywhere it goes. When the car came back from the body shop (almost $9,000 later) I installed aluminum upper and lower grills, blacked out tail light covers, projector black chrome head lamps (original head lamps included) and white faced gauge over lays. This car runs out great, sounds amazing, and does not need to be a trailer queen. I could lie and say I've never beat on the car but, this will lay a patch of rubber from here to Mexico if you wanted it to. I hate to part with this car but I just don't drive it and really want someone to enjoy it. The odometer was reset after the engine/Trans where rebuilt and it had 3,2xx on the clock when I bought it. Now 2.5 years later it has 5,9xx so I don't drive it that often. Has been in multiple shows/parades and has taken home 2 trophies this year alone. You'll be hard pressed to find one this strait, and this clean of an interior for an all original dash/seats/carpet/headliner interior car. I will Include any extra parts I have which is not to many, believe just head lights and wiper arms and even it's own car cover to tuck it in with. Bid in confidence, this truly is a cruiser car. I have set this as a no reserve auction, yes NO RESERVE highest bidder gets my pride and joy I have to part with. I do have a relative willing to ship vehicle on a flat bed trailer for an additional cost depending on your location. Feel free to ask any questions or request more photos or even videos. Can even face time call with a walk around if you would like. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding on this piece of soon to be American muscle history!
