Factory 290 4-speed, One of four 4-door 290 4-speeds with great AMC history...! I have documentation showing the history of the car see below. One of 4 cars that went to the Amc proving grounds...2 autos and two 4-speeds. The factory kept the car until it had 50,000 miles before being sold to a local Kenosha police officer. When sold the car had a 390 with 4:56 gears. The car was a development car for the S/C Rambler. After the police officer owned the car it spent some time at the drag strip (had gauges on dash, outside hood). The car is now equipped with a nicely built AMC 360Edelbrock 1405, 600cfm with electric choke Headers, 3 inch dual exhaust with flow masters 3:15 posi and traction bars Recently rebuilt and proven T-10 4-speed Front disc brakes New radiator Air shocks on the back 15 X 7 CragarsNewly upholstered front seats (the back seat is original fabric) This is NOT your Grandma's grocery getter!
