Up for Auction is this 1958 Chevy Delray Gasser Pro-Street Ready to Race or Cruise the Car Shows.I got this in Trade about a Month ago and have probably put only 200 miles on it sense I got it."It Is What It Is" can be a Drag Car or Street Fighter or Nostalgia Gasser or drive to the car cruses. When I got the car I was told it was built about 3 years ago at a cost of over $ 60,000.00 and Drivetrain was freshen last fall. It has a Chevy Big Block Tall Deck 427 was built by RPM in Pennsylvania I was told "Claimed" H.P. was Dynoed at 780 H.P. and to Run Race Gas or High test and a can of 110 octane if I want to cruise around and not push it. Has a Turbo 400 Transmission with a 3500 stall converter, Line Lock,Trans Break and a Detroit Locker with 411 gears, New Mufflers, 20 Gallon Fuel Cell, I changed out the Electric Water Pump to a Mechanical Fan so it Runs at 195-205 degrees all day, 4 wheel Disc Brakes with a Manuel Master Cylinder ( which Suck's bad !) I would change to a booster system if I was to Keep it. The Motor Sounds Scary Awesome coming thru the Exhaust and Runs Great, Starts Right Up and shifts Great. Tires in front are like new and the rears could use some new ones, the wipers are not hitched up but heater and defrost work, Interior is real Nice and has a Banging Super Stereo System the Body and paint are OK not Show worthy but Great for a driver, took pictures of small cracks over rear wheels and some nicks here and there. Car is painted in a 2 tone with the Bottom half a Heavy Blue Metallic that could probably be wet sanded out to look a little better this Car is about the drivetrain and the WOW Factor which people have been pulling in all the time to see it in my Driveway and give me compliments all the time on it So If You Want To Be The Main Attraction when you pull into a Cruise this car is for you !!!
