Vehicle Detail
1969 PLYMOUTH FURY III POLICE CAR TRIBUTEFor sale is this basic 69 Fury III sedan that started life with few options, a 318 & 727 trans. I bought this in 2006 off ebay from a farmer in Rocky Mount VA, he use it daily & while in my possession it was also used regularly, like a rolling stone that gathers no moss this has retained a mostly rust free body & has a flawless frame. Still, a 4 door sedan fuselage c-body, while cool, can only be SO cool. So I set about making some changes & with a lot of time & money I went the extra mile & installed a 1967 383 from a 67 Sport Fury w/a rebuilt 4 barrel carb. The engine was torn down to the pistons, inspected, cleaned & then lightly rebuilt with a new timing chain, all new gaskets, new distributor, wires, plugs, fuel pump. etc. It also has a high torque mini starter. The plan was to make a Police car clone & a gumball light was located & it is just sitting on there: not mounted yet. I recently purchased the coolest fuselage (69-73) c-body Mopar in existence (ebay item #191267826177 & am no longer as interested in finishing this project & I need to re-coup some of the money spent on said above ultimate c-body Mopar.) So do yourself a favor & bid to win this great car, you will get a great deal for much less than this is worth & have a starting point way ahead of the game. People do stupid things with cars every day: they spend too much money & time on a car & then sell it cheap to pay some bills. In this case Im the stupid guy & YOU are the man with vision who loves to save money. However, if it doesnt meet the low, low reserve I have a place for it in long term storage. A non-refundable deposit of only $100 is required from the winning bidder, due via PayPal within 24 hours after the auction ends. (this proves you are fully committed to completing this transaction & allows for re-listing if you are not). No trades. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction end via cash in person, bank-to-bank or wire transfer, or certified bank check (drawn on a major US bank). Clear VA title is in hand and vehicle can be scheduled for buyer pickup by appointment at anytime after full payment is received and cleared. The car is located in Salem, VA.We are happy to work with the buyer to arrange shipping. We realize the deal is not complete until you have the vehicle in your possession & we want that as badly as you do. Its only fair that once full payment is made that you should get your purchased item quickly. Rest assured we will do everything in our power to insure that happens as quickly & safely as possible. Once you decide on a carrier we work directly with your shipper to get the job done & report back to you just as quickly. Anything you need, we are here to serve.
