Up for auction is a 1987 Toyota Pickup 4x4 with an extended cab and 224,190 miles. Truck is in running condition. I have owned this truck for 5 years and have used it primarily for firewood, mulch, transporting lawn equipment, and some commuting. Clear title. Truck frame and cab have rust typical of Toyota pickups of this era with nothing major at this point. Most extensive rust structurally is on the frame near gas tank where spring meets the frame (pictures provided). Original bed had rotted away and was fitted with the hardened plastic bed of a 2001 or there about Toyota Tocoma. This was done first thing when I got the truck and have used it extensively as a work truck since then without issue, the bed rusting out is no longer a concern. Interior is clean with new flooring carpet and cleaned or repainted plastic interior. 4 wheel drive is fully functional. Heating but no A/C. Truck had radio removed when I got it and I closed speaker holes on doors and in rear cab (pictures provided). Work Done to Truck: -New Battery -New Starter -New Brake Lines and Master Cylinder -New Oxygen Sensor -New Exhaust -Alternator replaced within last 2 years -Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Installed (2" Receiver) 3 years ago -Windsheild reset 5 years ago -Replaced Rear Axle Seals 3 years ago -Fuel pump replaced 5 years ago Work Needed: 1) Engine timing needs to be adjusted. Truck will begin to overheat after about 25 miles. Timing was adjusted recently in an effort to improve power and since then I have had this over heating issue. Truck will not overheat while idling or local drivning, seems to be only when going farther than 25 miles. Prior to the timing being adjusted about 2 months ago, this issue did not exist. 2) Trucks inspection sticker has expired. I have pictures of pretty much every angle of the truck exterior and interior, underbody, and engine. The truck is not in mint condition but is a good truck for someone who has property and is mechanically inclined to some extent, and where else can you get a truck for this price. I am selling it because my family has outgrown it and I just no longer have use for it. TERMS & CONDITIONS Truck is sold as is, so please ask any question prior to bidding.
