Vehicle Detail

Vehicle is powered by the 289 CID "C"C code V-8 developing 200 h. p. attached to a floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission. Factory options on this vehicle are: AM radio and backup lights. Other aftermarket items are: JVC AM/FM stereo radio, two speakers mounted in wood in the rear seat trap door (original trap door included), Hurst floor shifter, fiberglass hood scoop and simulated side quarter scoops, American Racing chrome wheels, custom wood-trimmed steering wheel, chrome driver's side "racing" style rear view mirror, and dual red "cherry bomb" mufflers exiting through valance-mounted exhaust trumpets. We have original parts that are included, AC unit, wheels, radio, etc. This car has had 3 owners and spent 14 years with us. Please contact us with any other questions or to set up a time to look at it. Also, has new gas tank. Car runs well. Appraisal details available upon request. Please contact seller for all additional information pertaining to extra parts or other questions. All original parts and new custom parts included in this purchase. Buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery. Payment must be made via PayPal. On Sep-02-14 at 13:41:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Exterior: Exterior paint is dull needing polishing and cleaning. There are some chips, nicks and peeling paint in the white sections. The blue “racing stripes” are in very good condition. I observed no collision damage to the vehicle but there is some bubbling in the front of both doors. Both chrome front and rear bumpers are in very good condition with no peeling or pitting. Front “honeycomb” grille is bent near the top. All other stainless trim, pot metal badges and stainless exhaust are in good/fair condition with some of the stainless trim showing scratches and dents but all trim pieces are present. Using a flexible magnet, all rust and repair-prone areas are in very good condition with magnet “sticking' in all areas. Glass is crack and mostly scratch-free and original to the vehicle displaying correct “Carlite” identification. Engine/Engine Compartment: Engine compartment, while needing a good cleaning, is in good condition. I observed no excessive rust, collision damage or repairs. The engine has a good deal of grease and dirt and partially painted Ford Corporate Blue. Radiator is apparently newly installed. The carburetor appears to have been recently replaced with a Holley double pumper unit that is in very good condition. Wiring is in good condition with no worn or spliced wires and routed in factory looms. Chassis: Underside of chassis is in better-than-expected condition for a forty-five year old vehicle. There is little rust and no sign of collision damage or repairs. The frame stubs are in remarkably good condition for the age of the vehicle with no excessive rust. The engine, transmission and rear axle have no excessive oil or grease leakage. Floor pans are undercoated with no obvious signs of hidden rust. Exhaust pipes show some surface rust but not excessive. Mufflers are red painted “cherry bomb” style in good condition. Tires are 205/75 R14” blackwall with a great deal of tread. Wheels are American Racing chrome slotted style in good condition needing a good cleaning. Interior: Interior is “standard” blue vinyl with the front seats in good condition showing no rips, tears, or split seams. Doors are in good condition but as buckets, all need a good cleaning. Rear fold-down seat is in good condition. Carpet is sun-damaged and tired but not ripped or torn. Headliner is in good condition showing no rips, tears or hanging down. Instrument panel is in good condition but the padded dash is wavy near the windshield probably due to sun damage. The glove compartment box is missing. Instruments are in good condition needing, as does the rest of the vehicle, a good cleaning. Custom aftermarket steering wheel with plastic wood grain is in good condition. Fiberglass rear quarter sections are in very good condition with no broken sections and fit well. Factory AM radio has been replaced by AM/FM stereo that has not been mounted in dash.
