1952 Jaguar MKVII Out of long term storage. No Rust, The MKVII is the most desirable, purest and has the cleanest lines of the Big Jaguars. It starts promptly, has good oil pressure and stops relatively well. A new brake booster has been installed. The Brake and Clutch master cyls were upgraded at some point prior to my tenure with a domestic unit. The 4 speed gearbox shifts smoothly and quietly. The clutch feels good. The car has a new cloth loomed wiring harness (installed), along with a new voltage regulator, rebuilt generator and other new misc electrical switches and devices. The light green leather interior is in good condition as is the headliner and carpet. The sunroof opens and closes properly. The paint is very good for a driver but not perfect. There is a spot or two where the paint has chipped. The Bias ply tires look good and have lots of tread, but would recommend replacing them with modern radials. The chrome is very nice. The brakes but would benefit from bleeding as this car has sat for some time. Both fuel tanks have been cleaned. One fuel tank needs a sending unit, to be secured in place and plumbed in. Both glove boxes need the cardboard box inserts. There is a new Tac cable that comes with the car and needs to be installed. The car needs a speedo cable. The milage is not accurate because of this. The trunk carpeting was removed (and has since been replaced) to show the soundness of the body. The photos of the undercarriage shows the soundness of the chassis and body.
