Vehicle Detail

I have for sale a very nice 1956 Lincoln Premiere convertible. This is a 2-door hardtop made into a convertible. The look is the top down and boot on. A previous owner had this done at a professional shop and it turned out quite nicely. This long and classy 1956 Lincoln runs and drives great with good power from the Lincoln 368 V-8. The brakes are good and slow and stop the car well. All the power windows work. The rear seat window switches also work. The power seat does not. The headlights work. The tail lights also work. All of the turn signals blink except the driver's front. The green arrow turn signal indicators work. The door locks work. Horn works. The speedometer and fuel guage are working. The map light and GEN light work. Wipers are working, but slowly. Now for the non-working items: power seat, temp ga., clock, original radio, power antenna, heater/defroster blower fan. The underside of the car is very solid as the car came from Southern California. You can see in the photos. The body is in excellent condition with very nice paint. The chrome and stainless are very good as well, with only minor blemishes and some fading. The hood ornament and trunk ornament are nice. The rear trim under the trunk lip does need black paint added. Overall, the bright work on this '56 is good and shines nicely. Underside photos also available uopn request. They show a very solid frame, trunk, and floors. The interior is very nice and really comfortable. The door panels are good and the dash is very presentable and the guages are clear. The doors open and shut solidly and so does the trunk and hood. The beautiful red interior is a nice contrast to the shiny white exterior. Carpet is fair. The boot is nice. Overall, a very good-looking, comfortble interior for 5 people to go cruising in. The wide whitewall tires are in pretty decent shape and are roadworthy. Great original hubcaps with some cracking and fading in the center medalions. Go cruising around town in style in your 1956 Lincoln Premiere convertible. I get long looks and people pointing when I drive around town. Quite a few onlookers say they have never seen on like this. Very true. Not many around. Please feel free to ask questions. Sold in as-is condition. Personal inspection available.
