It has a rebuilt 1500 CC engine that replaced the original engine. The midget has a Weber downdraft carburetor, electric ignition, and electric fuel pump. The car was fully restored as frame off in mid-90's and driven daily and was even driven from NJ to Texas back in 1999. Once in Texas, it was put into open covered storage. Storage has not been kind because the dust and heat has ruined the mohair top and carpets. This is an excellent car to restore to original condition since there are No rusted body panels. All mechanical parts such as brakes, rear, wheel bearings, etc were either replaced or rebuilt during restoration. The car is beginning to show signs of surface rust on rims, and some engine and underbody areas. The original engine is in storage and also goes with the sale. The condition of the original engine is not known. After bringing the car out of storage, the car would not start, so the battery and plugs were replaced, and the engine turns perfectly fine, but will not start.
