I have driven it on multiple 2000 mile trips. It has been an absolute blast to own. I just don't use it as much anymore due to a new business venture, so it's time to sell. This truck makes people stop dead in their tracks. The fact that it is a diesel, and gets 17 MPG in town and 22 to 25 MPG on the highway is truly remarkable. The engine, trans, and rear end are all the perfect ratio for optimal cruising/towing/fuel economy. I got 18 MPG pulling a 20 ft. trailer loaded across Ohio and Indiana. The engine and transmission were installed in 1973. The mileage was zeroed out then. The odometer shows 54,000 miles. I am pretty sure that is 154,000 miles. I did have it repainted when I got it. The paint is nice, but not perfect. If you are looking for a complete concourse show truck, then keep looking. This is a nice clean driver, that you could take to a car show and get lots of compliments. The color is a light, light tan and a bright white roof. I did not paint the door jams. The color is not too far off from the factory, so there is not a stark contrast when the doors are open. Most people never notice. I did put in sound deadener throughout the whole floor and bed, including the doors. This has helped tremendously with road and diesel noise. The truck is not perfect, but for the money you can't beat it. Please email or text me @ 479-721-7097 with any questions. Please DO NOT ask me what my reserve is. I am open to any reasonable offers. NO TRADES Buyer agrees to pay all shipping charges. Winning bidder must put down a $500 non refundable deposit immediately after the close of the auction. I hate to do this, but it keeps the tire kickers at bay.
