Up for sale is a very nice ford standard coupe . Powered by ford! I bought this car in 1992 from the son of the original owner. The Father and son had restored this car them selves as a father & son project in the mid 80's. When I bought it , everything had been put back original , flathead , 3-speed , tires & wheels etc. I drove it for a few years like that , and then decided to street rod it so I could drive it more places , and have more fun with the car. This car is show quality , Having a new up to date suspension. The front has all new mustang ll components up front , with rack & pinion steering and sway bay control. The rear is made up of a newly designed rear leaf spring suspension that replaces the buggy spring setup in the back. The motor is a rebuilt ford 302 with a roller cam ,and 4-barrel carburetor on a high rise intake with custom headers and exhaust.The transmission is a C-5 automatic. The rear is an 8" ford from a 1967 cougar . all new accessories and gauges complete the power train. The paint is metallic sand base coat , with a clear coat over an all steel body .This car had no rust issues when I bought it , and still has all of its original flooring from front to back. ( the firewall has been recessed to make room for the newer motor. The interior matches the paint in two tone vinyl , seats , door panel , head liner , carpet and trunk area , all completely new and nicely done. Very nice car ready to drive.
