I bought this 2005 Saturn Vue new in November 2004. I would say about half the miles are highway. My work commute was 25 miles one way on an Interstate. I've been retired for 2 years and rarely use the car. It still drives just as well as it did the day I drove it off the Saturn dealership showroom floor. Preventive maintenance was performed by the Saturn dealership until they closed in, I believe, 2009. The last maintenance they performed was extensive and included changing the timing belt or chain (I'm not sure if it's a belt or chain). The engine is made by Honda. I would estimate that the mileage at that time was about 126,000. Since the Saturn dealership closed I have used a mechanic that is employed full time with a major auto dealership who runs his own business as an auto mechanic from his home on the side with lots of diagnostic equipment etc. The tires still have plenty of tread remaining and were recently rotated. It is a smoke free vehicle. There is an AM/FM CD player MP3 as well as heated front seats and a fully functioning cruise control. I have pulled a small 12 foot boat with the trailer hitch as well as a utility trailer with a riding lawnmower to the dealer every spring for routine maintenance. The trailer hitch obviously goes with the car but I will keep the trailer hitch tow ball which appears in the photos. The car just passed Georgia emissions testing. In the photos you will notice an XM Radio mount on the dashboard. All installed XM radio equipment has been removed. The vehicle will be available for inspection should you desire to do so during the biding period. I will be glad to work with the winning bidder on delivering the car..within reason, of course.
