Vehicle Detail
The LBZ is the most desirable 6.6L Duramax Diesel engine since it has the most power and torque of the GMT800 HDs and no DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) or DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) to deal with. Produced only for model years 2006 and 2007, the LBZ was the last Duramax Diesel without these fuel economy robbing emission controls. The LBZ Duramax is also the first to be mated with the 6-speed Allison automatic, and it is particularly effective with tunes for economy and/or performance. This is a white 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Classic Dual Rear Wheel Crew Cab Long Bed LT 4x4 Duramax Diesel Automatic with 314k miles that runs and drives well. The engine has no blow by. The a/c is cold. Everything works except the power function of the driver mirror and driver door lock. The tires have good tread except for the inside of the front tires (alignment issue now resolved) and the center of the rear tires (over inflation). Two wheels don't have a trim ring. The cloth interior is good. The hinge on the center console lid/armrest is broken. We don't smoke, but the truck has been smoked in and has a little odor and some burns. The bottom front of the rear seat that is vinyl has a few tears. The bed has a clean liner and hidden gooseneck hitch. There is also a Class V hitch and trailer brake controller. The lack of bass from the radio has been fixed. A four wheel alignment was just performed. The body is good but has small hail dents on the hood and roof as well as a scratch on both dually fenders. The windshield has a crack across the bottom. The engine doesn't drip oils but may seep power steering fluid. The interior is not spotless or perfect. This Silverado has a Clean AutoCheck report. AutoCheck lists the truck as a one owner vehicle, showing that it has always been in Oklahoma. So this is a rust-free Southern truck. The 6.6L Duramax Diesel (LBZ) V8 makes 360 horsepower and 650lb-ft torque with the Allison 6-speed automatic transmisson. This pair together makes a great combination for both towing power and fuel efficiency. I average 22 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. The interior is equipped with power seat, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, auto-dim rear view mirror, overhead console, 6-disk CD changer in dash, dual climate control, rear seat foldown armrest, and more. The exterior is equipped with heavy duty tow package, tinted glass, chrome bumpers, bedliner, gooseneck hitch, and more. This Silverado runs and drives 100%. The engine runs strong with no issues. There is no smoke, the turbo is fine, and there are no check engine lights. The transmission shifts smoothly through each gear. The 4x4 shifts into and out of 4 wheel drive like it should. This Silverado has lived in the South all its life. Underneath the truck may be a little dirty, but it has not been subject to salty roads. This truck has an Oklahoma title which can be transferred to a Texas title. It has current Texas Inspection. The Silverado is a used vehicle sold as-is without warranty. We believe this is a good truck. It is a little dirty but has been good to us. We put everything in the listing that we can think of.
