Offered for auction is my Guards Red 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera - Targa with black leather interior. This is a four owner vehicle (1st owner: 1-yr / 2nd owner: 19yrs / 3rd owner: 5yrs / present owner: 1yr). I purchased this car from Chequered Flag International (Marina Del Rey, California) in June of 2013 and had it shipped to my home in Iowa. This car comes with all maintenance records since new. Always garaged and meticulously maintained. This time capsule has brought me happiness since the day it arrived at my front door. It's been a joy to drive on occasional weekends with under 400 miles logged in the past 14 months. I've decided to list this gem for three reasons: 1) I'm getting married and need to "offload" some of my toys. 2) I'm moving from Iowa to Vermont & don't feel like going through the hassle of transporting the car up north, as well as keeping it garaged throughout the long winters up there - this beauty needs to be driven, not hidden away in a garage. 3) I've had two spine surgeries in as many years, leaving me with partial paralysis of my left leg. This has forced me to completely change the way I live my life. I can't use the clutch on a manual vehicle anymore, or shift gears on my motorcycles & dirt-bikes.
