Need a part for your GOFER project???Gone are the days I remember when folks were lined up around the corner it seems to give me an old bike for free or next to nothing. Now all you can manage is a rusty ole part for way too much or an NOS part for what the bike cost brand new 30+ years ago. Well, here's a chance to to get ALL the parts, in pretty solid shape for a reasonable price. I'll start with the good. I got this bike from a neighbor who was moving about 2 years ago and he just wanted it gone i gave him what i thought was fair (considering it didn't run), although i felt kinda like i was stealing it from him. So about the good: - Bike is ALL there, not sure, but guessing it came with 2 mirrors, now it only has one. - All the chrome is at least a 7 outta 10, back wheel has some pitting and chain guard has a battery acid blemish on it and front fender is not the best. (see pics) - What i assume is the stock seat is in great shape, no tears. - Lights, flashers, horn ect all work (it had an OK battery in it when i got it, currently no battery with it) - New IRC tires. - Motor has good compression and spins over effortlessly. - Bike has a clear Illinois title that was signed to sell by the previous owner, i was gonna date it and transfer it once i got it running, never did, inserting date of sale should be fine to transfer in any state. - Manual and some other misc parts will be included (less than great front fender, a few flasher lenses and an aftermarket carb) Now the bad: - As stated, the bike doesn't run. The previous owner said it would foul plugs all the time and even went to effort to get another carb. which will be included. - There is a small tear in the metal of the rear fender. (see pics) - The rear brake lever looks like it was bent, broken and braised a little. Works fine though. (see pics) - The tank has a dent in the riders RHS, and some misc scratches. (see pics) Inside has surface rust but no flaking or compromised metal. - The riders RHS side cover is cracked, all the pieces are there and could surely be repaired. - Pretty sure the gauge and the key switch were swapped out so mileage may not be correct, but based on it's condition can't imagine it's all that far off.
