Vehicle Detail
This is an excellent 2001 sahara. Low miles, great condition. 6.5 ft Meyer plow with a timbering kit on the front suspension to prevent stress and wear and tear of the front end while plowing. It carries the weight of the plow so the shocks and springs don't have to, it's a great feature. This jeep is an automatic, which also is a great feature for plowing. This jeep only has a hard top, no soft top. The history of the Jeep is as follows: I purchased it from what I believe was the second owner this last December. Owner 2 owned it for longer than owner 1. Owner 2 was using it to plow his driveway in N.H. and the occasional drive to work, but mostly used it for his 150 ft driveway, hence the low miles and great shape. Ive owned it now for 9 months and it was a great buy for me and it did what I wanted it to do for me with ease, which was to plow my driveway and my parents driveway. Unfortunately, this purchase for me was more of a want than a need, so as a result, I now need to sell it to make way for my actual needs. It really is a super Jeep for the winter and of course it is a super fun vehicle for the summer fun and sun. Nothing beats a Jeep Wrangler with the roof off in the nice weather. The body is is great shape( see below), the frame is in great shape, and the interior is super clean and damage free. The negatives as I see them: -The wheels are showing some kind of oxidation of some kind, like the clear coat finish is wearing off. -The mirror brackets have some black paint coming off of them. -The radio has plays and sound great but it has a glitch that easy to get used to, once I've explained it. -The tires may or may not be suitable for another winter, I leave that up to the buyer. -above one of the wheel well flares is a very small rust spot just starting to show. Other than this spot, this jeep is in super great shape in regards to lack of rust on the body and the frame. That's it, nothing else as far as I'm concerned. Please take a look at the pictures to get a good idea of it's overall condition. Ask me questions and ask for more pictures if you need more. On Aug-14-14 at 18:20:18 PDT, seller added the following information: ****I've been asked for pictures of the underside, body/frame, break lines, under the floor boards and body mounts, to show condition. I will be adding a web link shortly for people to check out the pictures of those areas as I can't fit any more in this listing. I do not have any of the plow that comes with it, as it is in storage and I won't be able to get to it before the auction ends. I'm sorry for not being able to get them. I can however, promise that the plow looks really good for it's age. It is a yellow meyer plow that has no rot or decay at all. The previous owner treated any surface rust before I bought it and it looks great. A minor cosmetic problem of one of the sight markers that attaches to the corner so the driver can see the ends needs to be reattached with a new whole drilled and that is all that I can think of to mention, regarding the plow. On Aug-14-14 at 18:55:37 PDT, seller added the following information: ****** The following link should send people to 14 additional pictures, all of the underside. The photo's show all the areas that I described above, that where areas of interest by ebayers. In addition to the points of interest, the pictures also show the timbering kit, that is installed inside the front springs to shoulder the load of the plow when in transit, which keeps the stock springs and shocks from weakening over time. Other points would be, that for a 13/14 year old jeep, the underside looks amazingly rust and rot free. Even the floor of the body is solid as new. There is nothing but surface rust in the usual hot spots, or areas of expected decay, which should prove my claim of a well cared for and taken care of Wrangler. The lasts photo does show the only spot I can find of the rust starting to blister the paint at the front left wheel/fender well, which I believe to be superficial at this time, but I would have it addressed soon. I forgot to mention that the previous owner stated to me he had the jeep garaged almost all the time and always during the winter as he likes to drive right out the garage and start pushing the snow away and down the driveway. Thanks for the Questions and feel free to ask more.On Aug-14-14 at 19:03:58 PDT, seller added the following information: www.icloud.com/photostream/#A2532ODWZVqQdOn Aug-14-14 at 19:17:05 PDT, seller added the following information: https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A2532ODWZVqQdOn Aug-14-14 at 19:46:52 PDT, seller added the following information: ********* I'm very sorry everyone. I just can't figure out how to make these links work. I've looked all over ebay's site for help, and I can't do it. I know there are interested parties wanting to see my pictures, so I guess you'll have to message me and I can maybe send the link that way. I believe if the 2nd link above is typed in exactly, into a web browser bar, it should take you to the web photo album. Don't click on it. It probably could be cut and pasted too.
