Getting behind the wheel of this car and driving it makes driving fun again, it's a production that is magnificent every time you engage. I've never driven a car so many people have asked about, when people see a Ferrari they know it's a Ferrari. When people see a Maserati they don't know what it is at first but they do understand it's something special. If you don't like people approaching you for conversation or thumbs up on the highway this car is not for you. For anyone that hasn't driven a Quattroporte with the true ZF automatica / automatic transmission I must tell you it's a night and day difference from the DuoSelect. No disrespect to those who prefer to do their own shifting but the nice thing about this car is you can put anyone behind the wheel and they will be able to appreciate the car and drive it without worry about the transmission. The title to the car is clean and lien free without issue or excuses. I would challenge anyone to find a car with more sex appeal, exhaust note, performance & comfort than the Quattroporte for the money. This car has been a big part of putting Maserati back into the black. The only knock against this car is it's the last of the hand assembled / crafted cars. The passenger side visor is an 1/16" to the right. It's not screwed in wrong, it's not damaged, it's hand crafted. This car has character as do the people who own them. From a paintwork perspective the only thing that has been repainted on this car is the front nose bumper cover. I've borrowed a paint meter to check the metal body panels and there doesn't seem to be any paintwork other than the stone chip fixing on the front bumper cover. On the mechanical side the car even after sitting for a few weeks starts up quietly and sounds just as it should. Quite a few of these cars have issues with their variators that cause brief and displeasing noise on startup. This car has already had that work performed by a Maserati dealer. Other than your normal scheduled maintenance routine this car has no issues that should be sending you to a Maserati dealer. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
