hello I have a 1986 Suzuki samurai for sale. I have had this car for about 4 years now and I acquired it from an estate. I got it from the original owner who had driven it on the road for about 10 years occasionally and then he used it as a property truck to pull a small trailer around his property. it was always either kept in a garage or under a car port. there is no rust on the frame and all body panels are solid. the only rust is on the rear wheel wells where they meet the trunk floor. that's it! it runs great, I have driven it around my property many times and it goes great. it is a 5 speed the clutch is good shifts through all gears good and 2wd 4wd and 4wd low all work as they should as well as the front locking hubs. the odometer says 59,796 miles on it. it is broken. I am not sure of the actual mileage. I assume its not more than around 5,000 miles above this . the bad: I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE! the original owner lost the title! after having the car a year I started to gather what I needed here and there to get everything together that I would need to get a new title sent from nys dmv when I had the spare time. after 4 years I finally sent in what I had and of course I haven't received my paper work back yet. I made copies of everything I sent and I will provide this to the next owner so they can have the information. to make this car road worthy it would need a check over of the brakes and such. yes the body does have dents and things as it was a property work vehicle.
