For Sale: 1987 Suzuki GS450L (UJM) Motorcycle. 9,481 miles, 6 speed, mid-mount controls, luggage rack, good brakes, good tires, all lights, gauges and indicators work, new tech cable, new turn signal relay, consistently got 45 to 50 mpg, comfortable ride, owned bike for 5 years – garage kept, carburetors rebuilt and recently cleaned, newer battery. It does need some work. Cosmetically (if desired) gas tank could be repainted. I had it running a few weeks ago (after cleaning the carburetors); but, the left cylinder fires weakly. It may only need a new coil pack or new spark plugs to get it running properly. It may also need a head gasket – the part is $40 so if you can do the work yourself not bad. I don’t have time to fix it or really ride with any regularity so it has pretty much just been sitting in my garage. When I did ride it to work every day it ran great. Rather than let it sit in my garage for several more years until I have time, I wanted to give someone else the chance to have fun with it now. If you are mechanically inclined, you could have this bike up and running in plenty of time to enjoy it this year. This is a great bike to save money on your daily commute or for a cruise on a nice day. Asking $1,000; but, will entertain all reasonable offers.
