Need to sell my hot rod . I have a 62 falcon with futura trim. It has front disc brakes, open 8" rear end , and 302 from a 76 comet. I lowered it 2", front with custom springs and rear with steel blocks. The engine was built by local shop to approximately 300hp. standard .30 over bore, new pistons and bearings. Its fresh and solid. It has an oversized radiator with electric fan that keeps it cool. It has a AOD built to handle engine (lokar shifter) . Most suspension parts are new. Export brace and under engine brace . All new wires (Ron Francis) headlight to tail lights. tail lights are LED. All new gauges in a billet panel. I moved battery to trunk. I relocated gas fill to driver side fender. New fuel lines and tank with external electric fuel pump. It has steel barrier between back seat and trunk. Body is clean with no rust. I painted it primer black with cans because I like the look. needs rubber for windows, front window has a grove from wiper drivers side . Passengers side wing vent is cracked (flat glass). rear back up light lens is broken. all lights, switches, knobs, locks and pulls work. Interior is older restoration but clean, carpet is faded . It has all trim though passenger side head light trim could use replacing. The odometer reads 1486 and counting. Engine and tranny have approximately 3 to 4000 miles on them. lots of new parts on a cool old car. cars history This is a fun car . I have had it since feb 2008. Car came with a straight six and fordomatic and a folder full of routine maintenance receipts. I had planed on keeping car stock but on the way to register it the tranny died. I put in a c-4 ( it now has AOD) and drove it that way till 2010. I got tired of the six's lack of power and the cars old wiring issues. Got the parts car and had at it. It took me 2 years to get everything sorted out. I've driven in up to phoenix for car shows and it drives great. I always get complements every time I drive it. Some other things I forgot to mention. driver side window chrome has one crease at pillar and passenger side upper window chrome has some dimpling all could be fixed The dome light is missing cover and does not work, I put led's under dash that come on when doors open. headliner is good but it does have light water stain near doors, I replaced door seals. To get oversized aluminum radiator to fit I did enlarge hole in front brace, still plenty left for support very solid. To get electric fan on front of radiator to fit I trimmed hood latch bracket once again plenty left and very solid. I also put in a dual bowl resivor for brakes with a proportioning valve for safety . I have a set of baby moons that go with car. tire size is p195/60r15 . brake lines and fuel lines all new. The fuel gage reads over 3/4 when it is full but reads correct for empty. It has a hidden pushbutton start and switch for fuel pump. The battery has a kill switch beside it in trunk. I would rather give to much info than not enough. Cars like this one are great, some ones has done all the hard stuff, spent the big money so you can buy it at half price. It is great as is but still has room to take it what ever direction you want. Good luck and thank youOn Aug-09-14 at 11:19:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Put some extras in trunk . manual for car , the original jack, the Ron Francis wire box it has extra wires also carb springs, knobs ect . also put in a 10 inch chrome air cleaner with matching valve cover breathers. A/C bracket with compressor that came with engine and baby moons. I had a person ask if it had any leaks. the answer is no with a disclaimer. It has cork gaskets on oil pan and valve covers and they are oil wet no drips. if car doesn't sale for some reason I will change them to rubber next time I do a oil change in 2000 miles. I also had someone concerned about storage until pickup. Its in my locked garage and can stay there for 30 days give or take a few days, if longer is needed I can put in storage of your choice in your name. I know shippers can be a pain to deal with and I will work with you. Car will need to be paid for, before it is shipped. Good luck.
